Laying of laminated flooring
Laminated flooring can be overlay onto any smooth or solid surface without hacking existing flooring. The floor will not be glued to the existing substrate. Underlay such as PE film/PE sheet, pu mats and wool can be used to reduce the unevenness of the floor and footstep sound. Remember laminated flooring is a floating floor which does not glued at all, therefore the underlay must not be too thick to create more hollowness from the existing flooring. Distance from wall which must be observed when laying laminated flooring. All laminated floor lay are required at least 8mm away from the existing wall. These are known as expansion joint that ensures the floor have space to expand when changes of climate. These expansion joint included pillars, build-in wardrobes and door frames. All edge spacing will be covered by using skirting board and profile. Matching color silicone will be used to covered all pillars and door frames.
Maintenance and Care
Our porefree/sealed surface laminated floor allows minimum care. Just vacuum and occasionally wipe with slightly damped cloth with warm water. Severely damaged floor can be replaced by our professional; as such they look like the rest of your floor. Repair kits are also available for repairing small area of damaged. The joint of the laminated floor are sensitive to the effects of water. Sprit water should be cleaned up immediately. However all the edges / joints of our floorboards are treated with special glue when the flooring is been layered, providing effective protection from dampness. Floor mats are recommended at all damp area like main door entrance and washroom entrance.
Abrasion Resistant
Krono-fix laminated parquet can take a lot,because it is one of the most robust floorings around. It's abrasion and wear rating are also well suited for commercial uses.
Stain Resistant
Our flooring surface is tough on stain and dirt which offers you minimum effort in maintenance and cleaning
Impact Resistant
Each plank had to under goes a process call high pressure lamination which further strengthens its structure. Reinforcing that is the extremely tough melamine resins in the wear layer combined with the floating installation method.
Water Resistant
IS WATER RESISTANT NOT WATER PROOF.NOT LAMINATED FLOORING IS WATER PROOF. With the advancement in technology, we had achieved the precision necessary to ensure that the joints between planks are extremely fine thus preventing water from penetrating to the core.
Fire Resistant
Krono-Fix laminated parquet have a high resistant to fire under din4102, flame retardant B1
Anti-bacteria
Thanks to the advance technology, our products are treated with anti-microbial coating Bacteria and viruses are prevented from growing from the coated layer.
Scratch Resistant
The unique multi-layer coating protects the floor from scratch. Free from roller chair and cigarette burns.
